Amplifier R12 (MMI basic plus), removing and installing

The Amplifier R12 is located behind the luggage compartment left side trim.

1. Turn off all electrical components.
2. Remove ignition key.

Removing

Vehicles with luggage compartment storage bin

1. Open left luggage compartment storage bin.

Vehicles without luggage compartment storage bin

1. Remove left luggage compartment side trim --> «70 - INTERIOR TRIM»(/audi/s6/c6-2006-2008/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#body-interior) .

All vehicles

Scheme 62

1. Disconnect connector on Amplifier R12 - 3 -.
2. Remove screws - 1 - , - 2 - and - 4 - (2 Nm) and remove Amplifier R12 - 3 -.

Installing

1. Install in reverse order.
