Removing Audi A8 D3 facelift

Removing

  1. Remove left and right plenum chamber covers.
  2. Remove dust and pollen filter --> «Dust and pollen filter, removing and installing»(ref-289225-S02097241612008062700000) .
  3. Remove dome brace with reinforcement to cowl panel trim. --> «40 - FRONT SUSPENSION»(ref-289219-S31806228072008062700000)
  4. Switch on ignition and set air conditioner to fresh-air mode (e.g. by "Defrost" setting on Climatronic Control Module J255)

Note. To gain access to bolts - A - , air flow flap must be open.

  1. Remove bolts - A -.
  2. Switch off ignition.
  3. Now remove the remaining screws - arrows -.

  1. Release fasteners for wiring harness - A - on left and right of air conditioner.
  2. Take off air intake shroud with air flow flap.
  3. If necessary for further work, open remaining wiring harness fasteners at air conditioner.

  2. Remove cover - B -.
  3. Remove temperature sensor from intake housing --> «Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor G89 removing and installing»(ref-289225-S40864103962008062700000)
  4. Remove Air Flow Flap Motor V71 --> «Air Flow Flap Motor V71 with Back Pressure Flap Motor Position Sensor G113 , removing and installing»(ref-289225-S28604062512008062700000) .
