Triangular Trim, Removing and Installing

Removing

1. Remove door trim --> «Rear Door Trim, Removing and Installing»(ref-289222-S03620723902008062700000) .

Scheme 282

1. Remove bolts - 1 - (3x).
2. Remove triangular panel on front side of door trim.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

1. Torque wrench V.A.G 1783

Removing

1. Remove door trim --> «Rear Door Trim, Removing and Installing»(ref-289222-S03620723902008062700000) .
2. Remove insulation --> «Insulation, Removing and Installing»(ref-289222-S25895226462008062700000) .

1. Remove connector - 1 -.
2. Remove connector - 2 -.
3. Remove bolts - 4 - (qty. 2).

1. Tightening torque 2 Nm.

1. Remove inner door mechanism on front side of door trim.

Installing

1. Make sure that cable of connector - 2 - lies behind bracket - 3 -.
2. Install interior door mechanism in reverse order of removal.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

1. Torque wrench V.A.G 1783

1 - Hinged pocket with mount

1. Removing

1. Remove door trim --> «Rear Door Trim, Removing and Installing»(ref-289222-S03620723902008062700000) .
2. Remove insulation --> «Insulation, Removing and Installing»(ref-289222-S25895226462008062700000) .
3. Remove bolts - 3 - (qty. 5).
4. Remove bolts - 4 - (7x).

1. Remove hinged pocket with mount - 1 - on front side of door trim - 2 -.

1. Installing

1. Install hinged pocket with mount - 1 - in reverse order of removal.

2 - Door trim

3 - Bolts (Qty. 5)

1. Tightening torque 2 Nm.

4 - Bolts (7x)

1. Tightening torque 2 Nm.

Removing

1. Remove door trim --> «Rear Door Trim, Removing and Installing»(ref-289222-S03620723902008062700000) .
2. Remove insulation --> «Insulation, Removing and Installing»(ref-289222-S25895226462008062700000) .
3. Remove hinged pocket with mount --> «Hinged Pocket with Mount, Removing and Installing»(ref-289222-S14616059622008062700000) .

Scheme 284

1. Pull out pins - 1 - (2x) using pliers.
2. Using a screwdriver, pry out bolts - 4 - (2x).
3. Remove hinged pocket - 2 - from mount - 3 -.

Installing

1. Install hinged pocket - 2 - in reverse order of removal.
