Removal and installation of the short and long rear center console is distinguished by the additional removal of the cover of the short rear center console.

CAUTION

Switch off all electrical components. Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Unclip cover on buttons - arrows -.
Unclip Drivers Volume Control Button E374 using a small screwdriver.
Disconnect harness connectors on Drivers Volume Control Button E374.

Installing

Install in reverse order.

Removal and installation of Multimedia Display Unit 1 Y22 and Multimedia Display Unit Y23 are identical.

CAUTION

Switch off all electrical components. Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Removing

Bring headrest to topmost position and tilt headrest forward.

Pull cover of headrest - 2 - out of rail - 1 -.

Remove bolt - arrow - (3 Nm) on inside of headrest.
