Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Memory, checking (function 02)

  1. Connect VAG 1551 Scan Tool, insert address word 08 "AC/Heating Electronics" and move forward in program until "Select function XX" is displayed. See «VAG 1551 ((VAG 1552) SCAN TOOL (ST), CONNECTING AND SELECTING FUNCTIONS»(ref-196890-S19658011992005101000000) .
  2. Switch printer on by pressing the PRINT button (indicator lamp in button comes on).

  1. Press buttons -0- and -2- (function "Check DTC Memory" is entered with 02).

  1. Press -Q- button to confirm input.

Number of stored DTCs or "No DTC recognized" is displayed

  1. Press => button.

Stored DTCs are displayed and printed one after the other

If "No DTC recognized" is displayed, program returns to the starting position after --> button is pressed.
