TIGHTENING TORQUE: FRONT WIPER FRAME

Scheme 1: Windshield wiper blades, adjusting rest position

Let wiper motor run to rest position.
Set wiper blades on front windshield and adjust as follows: FRONT WIPER BLADE ADJUSTMENT SPECIFICATION Vehicle type Dimension "a" mm Dimension -b- mm Sedan and Avant 12 to 20 25 to 33 S6 and Allroad 20 to 25 35 to 40 NOTE: The dimensions indicate the gap between the wiper blades to secondary cover of plenum chamber at lower edge of windshield.
Tighten wiper arm securing nut to 16 Nm.
Operate wiper arm cycle button.
If necessary, adjust wiper arms once again and tighten securing nuts.
