Test conditions for operations with engine running
- No DTCs stored in DTC memory
- Coolant temperature at least 80° C.
- Electrical accessories switched off (coolant fan must not run during the test).
- Air conditioning switched off.
- Vehicles with automatic transmission: Selector lever in position P or N.
Vehicles with control module No. 8E0 909... , go to TEST SEQUENCE .
Operation 4: Adaptation of the kick down function
Note. Only on vehicles with automatic transmission.
Operation 5: Checking operating status of oxygen sensor (O2S) control
- Start engine (for vehicles with manual transmission: press clutch pedal).
Note. If necessary, after the engine starts reselect vehicle system "01 - Engine electronics" and diagnostic function "04 - Basic setting".
