Note. For A/C Control Heads -E87- with part number up to and including index letter "G" and with index letters "P", "Q", "R" and "S", there are 12 measuring value blocks, each with 4 measuring values (display fields). For A/C Control Heads -E87- with part number and index letters "H", "J", "K" or "L" and from index letter "T" as well as index "AE", "AF", "AG", and "AH" there are 13 measuring value blocks, each with 4 measuring values (display fields) (-E87- for vehicles up to model year 2001). With model year change 2001 to 2002 the A/C system control will be changed over. For Audi allroad, the changeover of the A/C system is not performed with the model year change 2001 to 2002, instead it is a running change (implementation open, for vehicles with 4.2 Liter engine with start of production). Regulation of the air conditioning remains functional during the On Board Diagnostic (OBD) Read Measuring Value Block function 08 and the current measured values are displayed. Display groups with measuring values for actuator (positioning) motors show the current actual or specified values and the learned values (stored during the last basic setting) for the end stops of the individual positioning motors The positions of the positioning motors and flaps can be changed during the OBD using the control buttons on the A/C Control Head -E87- and the current and specified values are displayed on the scan tool display. When the printer is switched on, the contents of the display will be printed out on the scan tool log.
