Power mirror adjustment unit, replacing
| CAUTION | On vehicles equipped with Audi Telematics by OnStar(R), switch-off the emergency (back-up) battery for the Telematic/Telephone Control Module prior to disconnecting the vehicle battery. Switch-on the emergency (back-up) battery after reconnecting the vehicle battery. See EXAMPLE: SWITCH ON EMERGENCY (BACK-UP) BATTERY . |
- Disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap.
- Remove mirror glass.
- Remove screws -1- (Qty. 3). Tightening torque: 1 Nm (9 in. lb)
- If mirror adjustment units has harness connectors, disconnect before disassembling.
Note. In the mirror adjustment unit has soldered wiring, the electric leads must be separated individually directly at the housing.
- Install wiring in connector housing supplied with replacement part.
Note. Note configuration of wiring on old adjustment unit.
