DESCRIPTION & OPERATION
Front seat adjustment control switches are located on the lower outside trim panel of seat. The front switch controls seat forward, rearward, up and down operation. The rear switch controls seat backrest and headrest operation.

BACKREST ADJUSTMENT MOTOR
- Remove power seat assembly from vehicle. Remove backrest adjustment motor wiring harness connector. (Scheme 1) Remove seat heater coil drive connector (if equipped). Remove seat trim cover.
- Remove screws from backrest stop. Carefully pry backrest from trim. Pull trim down and off seatback. Straighten upholstery hooks and pull cover foreword. Remove backrest adjustment motor and bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure.

POWER SEAT ADJUSTMENT MOTOR
Remove seat from vehicle. Remove drive shafts and guard tubes. Disconnect wiring harness connector. Remove adjustment motor mounting screws. (Scheme 2) Remove adjustment motor. To install, reverse removal procedure.

POWER SEAT ADJUSTMENT SWITCH
Remove cover caps from side trim. Remove screws from seatback stop bolts. Remove side trim, starting at top and working downward. Remove wiring harness connector. Remove switch. (Scheme 3)To install, reverse removal procedure.

POWER SEAT ASSEMBLY
Move seat to full rear position. Set backrest to full vertical position. Remove rear cover caps. Remove front mounting screws. (Scheme 4) Push seat backward out of tracks. Tilt seat back and remove wiring harness connectors. Remove seat from vehicle. To install, reverse removal procedure.
