Yaw Rate-Acceleration Sensor Replacement

Note. Do not damage or drop the sensor as it is sensitive. Do not use power tools when replacing the sensor.

Scheme 57: Yaw Rate-Acceleration Sensor Replacement
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  2. Remove the center console (see «CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#consoles-v6__center-console-removalinstallation) ).
  3. Remove the yaw rate-acceleration sensor (A).
  4. Disconnect the yaw rate-acceleration sensor 4P connector (B).
  5. Check for deformation in the bracket (C). If necessary replace it.
  6. Install the yaw rate-acceleration sensor in the reverse order of removal.
  7. Do the VSA sensor neutral position memorization (see «VSA SENSOR NEUTRAL POSITION MEMORIZATION»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/anti-locktraction-control/#vsa-system-components-v6__vsa-sensor-neutral-position-memorization) ).
