Door Multiplex Control Unit Input Test
Note. If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A ).

- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Remove the power window master switch (see «POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/windows/#power-windows-4-cyl) ). NOTE: Be careful not to scratch the door trim.
- Disconnect the 37P connector (A) from the power window master switch (B).
- Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact. If the terminals are bent, loose or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system. If the terminals look OK, go to step 5.
- Reconnect the connector to the power window master switch, and do the following input tests: If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system. If all the input tests prove OK, go to step 6. Blown No. 3-4 (DR F/B) (60 A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box Blown No. 24 (20 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box An open or high resistance in the wire 32 BLK Under all conditions Measure the voltage to ground: There should be less than 0.2 V. Faulty driving position memory switch A short to ground in the wire 19 YEL Ignition switch ON (II), driving position memory switch SET button pressed Measure the voltage to ground: There should be less than 0.2 V. - Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), then disconnect the connector from the power window master switch, and do the following input tests: If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system. If all the input tests prove OK, the door multiplex control unit must be faulty; replace the power window master switch (see «POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/windows/#power-windows-4-cyl) ). NOTE: If you replace the power window master switch, reset the power window control unit (see «RESETTING THE POWER WINDOW CONTROL UNIT»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/windows/#power-windows-4-cyl__resetting-the-power-window-control-unit) ). - Carefully pry the driving position memory switch (A) out from the door panel.
- Disconnect the 7P connector (B) from the driving position memory switch.
- Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table. NOTE: Make sure the correct test lead (+ or -) is placed on the terminal. When checking for continuity across the diode, use the diode setting ( ) on the digital volt/ohm meter to check the diode bias. Be careful of the characteristic; diode bias causes a diode to fully conduct electricity in one direction (forward), while not at all in the opposite direction (reverse).
- If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
- Install the switch in the reverse order of removal.
