  1. Remove the steering column covers (see «STEERING COLUMN REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(/acura/tsx/i-2003-2008/remont/manual-power-steering/#power-steering-system__steering-column-removal-and-installation) ).
  2. Disconnect the cable reel 13P or [20P] connector (A) from the dashboard wire harness. [ ]: '06-08 models with navigation (Scheme 5): Identifying Cable Reel 13P Or [20P] Connector Terminal From Dashboard Wire Harness
  3. Using a jumper wire, connect the No. 1 or [No. 11] terminal of the dashboard wire harness 13 P or [20P] connector to body ground. [ ]: '06-08 models with navigation If the horns sound, go to step 4. If the horns don't sound, check these items: No. 13 (20 A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box. Relay module in the under-hood fuse/relay box. Horns (see «HORN TEST/REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/i-2003-2008/remont/horns/#horn-system) ). An open in the wire.
  4. Reconnect the cable reel 13P or [20P] connector (A) to the dashboard wire harness. [ ]: '06-08 models with navigation (Scheme 6): Identifying Cable Reel Connectors
  5. Remove the driver's airbag assembly (see «DRIVER'S AIRBAG REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/i-2003-2008/remont/airbag/#srs-supplemental-restraint-system) ), and disconnect the horn switch 1P positive terminal from the cable reel (B).
  6. Using a jumper wire, connect the cable reel side 1P connector (C) to body ground. If the horns sound, replace the horn switch plate. If the horns don't sound, replace the cable reel.
