- Remove the turn signal/hazard relay (A) from the under-dash fuse/relay box (B).
- Inspect the relay and fuse/relay box socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact. If the terminals are bent, loose, or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system. If the terminals look OK, go to step 3.
- Make these input tests at the fuse/relay box. If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system. If all the input tests prove OK, the turn signal/hazard relay must be faulty; replace it. - Remove the audio unit (see «AUDIO UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/rsx/i-2001-2004/remont/entertainment-systems/#audio-system) ).
- Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the hazard warning switch (B).
- Remove the two screws and the hazard warning switch.
- Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
- If the continuity is not as specified, replace the illumination bulb (C) or the switch.
