Scheme 1

Scheme 1: OIL PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Type

Oil pressure sensor: Linear Piezo resistive pressure sensor, bridge connected.

Oil temperature sensor: Temperature dependent resistor (Thermistor) of the negative temperature coefficient (NTC) type.

The sensors are integrated in the same component.

characteristic

Oil pressure sensor

Oil temperature sensor: The resistance between terminal #1 and #4 must be 5.7 kohms at +20 °C. the resistance drops with ascending temperature.

DESCRIPTION

All the values that are given are measured between the respective connection given in column 1 and #2 or #4 (ground).

Pins 3, 5 and 6 are not used.

U=DC voltage in volts (V)U bat =Battery voltage in volts (V)
I =Current in amperes (A)U low =Voltage approximately 0 V
F =Frequency in Hertz (Hz)
