Note. When removing the battery lead, see Note when disconnecting and connecting the battery lead .

Remove

  1. the air cleaner (ACL) housing assembly with the intake pipe
  2. the battery. See «Removing the air cleaner (ACL) housing»(ref-441339-S17663049282011121500000)
  3. the battery shelf.

  1. Remove the two nuts for cable mounting B
  2. Lift the cable to the side.
CAUTIONTake care not to damage the cable or sleeve by bending it excessively. Take care not to damage the cable boot.
