Components, removing

Remove

1. the cover over the injectors
2. the cover over the throttle housing.
3. the upper timing cover
4. the cover over the ignition coils.
5. the front timing cover.
6. the throttle cable from the throttle housing's console.

Remove

1. the brake servo's vacuum hose. Pull on the hose while pressing down the plastic ring.
2. the turbo control valve from the air filter housing.
3. the mass air flow sensor's connector.
4. EVAP-valve's connection to mass air flow sensor's hose.
5. air filter housing's top part complete with hose.
6. the pipe screw for the water-heated crankcase ventilation.
7. the auxiliaries belt

Remove

1. the screw from the ignition coils' ground.
2. the camshaft position sensor.

Remove

1. the ignition coils' connectors.

Place the cable harness to the side.

Screw loose the cable channel from the cylinder head's trailing edge and the throttle housing's console. Disconnect cables and hoses from the cylinder head's trailing edge.

Remove

1. water temperature sensor's connector.
2. injectors' connectors.

Lay the cable channel and cable harness to the side.

Mark up and remove ignition coils and ignition cables.

Remove

1. camshaft's rear cover.
2. the camshaft position (CMP) sensor housing
3. the trigger wheel.

Remove

1. upper radiator hose with thermostat housing's cover.
2. the screw holding the dip stick pipe to the intake manifold
3. connectors from air assistance valve and throttle position sensor.
4. crankcase ventilation's hose from camshaft cover.
5. vacuum hoses from inlet pipe, mark up location.
6. console between servo pump/inlet pipe.
7. screws that hold inlet pipe to the cylinder head.
8. the intake manifold
