DAMPER MOTOR LIMIT POSITION SELF-ADJUSTMENT
- Damper motor limit position self-adjustment is necessary after replacing ECC control module or damper motor, or after disconnecting damper motor or linkage. Green LED indicator in A/C switch will flash until self-adjustment of a new ECC control module has been completed. An old ECC control module will cause Green indicator LED on A/C switch to flash only when it is self-adjusting. NOTE: During self-adjustment program, control module runs damper motors to their limit positions. It then stores value returned from position sensor and can control motor between limit positions during normal system operation.
- Turn ignition on. Use ADJUST MOTORS function on scan tool to activate self-adjusting on damper motors. This procedure takes about 30 seconds. When self-adjustment is complete, Green LED will stop flashing.
