Front Doors - 1992 & Later
The method for removing and installing is same as earlier for both manual and power glass lift mechanisms. The difference in design is that attaching nuts have been replaced by 4 mm pop rivets. This means that adjustments can no longer be carried out. The pop rivets are to be drilled out with a 4 mm drill bit. At same time, new slide units with plastic protectors in glass lift mechanism have been introduced.
