DOUBLE CHECK-VALVE, CHECKING
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Hand Vacuum Pump -VAS 6213
Disconnect the connectors -arrows- from the EVAP canister purge regulator valve 1 -N80- and the low fuel pressure sensor -G410-.
Scheme 89
Remove the EVAP canister purge regulator valve 1 -B- from the hose -A-.
Set the slide ring -1- on the hand vacuum pump -VAS 6213- to position -A- (vacuum).
Scheme 90
Connect the hand vacuum pump -VAS 6213- to the hose to the double check-valve -arrow-.
Scheme 91
Operate the hand vacuum pump -VAS 6213- several times, vacuum must build up.
If no vacuum builds up, replace the double check-valve.
