Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

1. Torque wrench V.A.G 1331/

1. Let wiper run into rest position and then switch off ignition.

Drivers side

The space - A - between the wiper rubber and bottom edge of windshield must be 20 mm.

1. If necessary, set rest position of windshield wiper blades by offsetting wiper arms on wiper motor shaft.
2. Removing wiper arms --> «Wiper arms, removing and installing»(ref-255357-S20115021542007053000000) .
3. Tighten mounting nut to specified tightening torque --> «Tightening torques: Windshield wiper and washer system»(ref-255357-S14910802762007053000000) .
