Read Measuring Value Block (function 08)

Note. The following information applies to Passat with Climatronic models through 11.01 production only. OBD program functions on vehicles from 12.01 production must be performed using the Vehicle Diagnostic Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in mode "Guided Fault Finding". During the function "Read measuring value block" the Climatronic regulation is in operation. 8 display group numbers display up to 4 measuring values each. To safely read measuring values while driving, an assistant is required.

1. Connect Scan Tool VAG 1551 and input address word 08 AC/Heating electronics and then press --> button, until "Select function XX" is shown in display --> «On Board Diagnostic (OBD), initiating checking control module versions»(ref-255355-S29515727232007053000000) .

1. Press buttons 0 and 8 to select function 08 "Read measuring value block".

1. Enter desired display group number for component or system to be checked --> table, beginning on (for example, Display Group 001 covers various compressor switch-off conditions).

Note. Interpreting measured values in individual display fields --> table beginning on. With the printer switched on the information on the display will be printed-out. If measured value specifications are met in all display fields
