Headlamp Range Control Module, removing and installing

Headlamp range control module is installed left in luggage compartment, behind left luggage compartment cover.

Removing

1. Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
2. Remove left luggage compartment cover --> «70 - INTERIOR TRIM»(ref-255354-S40858316772007053000000)
3. If necessary, remove CD changer with mounting frame --> «91 RADIO, TELEPHONE, NAVIGATION, TRIP COMPUTER»(ref-255359-S25491043142007053000000) .

Scheme 227

1. Disconnect harness connector - 1 -, unscrew Phillips head screws - arrows - from behind, and remove headlamp range control module - 2 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse of removal, noting the following

1. Check headlamp for function.
2. Code control module Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051A in "Guided Fault Finding" function
3. Perform basic setting of headlamp Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051A in "Guided Fault Finding" function
4. Check headlamp adjustment, adjust if necessary --> «01 - MAINTENANCE»(ref-255362-S25061652802007053000000)
