  2. Center Vents Removing vents, refer to «CENTER VENT»(ref-479481-S26051043982012061300000) .
  3. Right Side Vent

  5. Fresh Air and Heated Air Controls With Fresh Air/Recirculation Door Switch -E159-. On vehicles with an auxiliary heater, also with Immediate Heating Button -E537-. Removing controls, refer to «HEAT AND FRESH AIR CONTROLS»(ref-479481-S24783076542012061300000) .
  6. Fresh/Recirculating Air Door Motor -V154- Removing, refer to «FRESH/RECIRCULATED AIR DOOR MOTOR -V154»(ref-479481-S09998549562012061300000) .

  11. Sealing Caps Only in vehicles without air guide to vent installed in center console at rear.

  13. Connection For center console air guide. To remove, center console must be removed. Refer to «Removal and Installation»(ref-479538-S30502900232012061300000) .

Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35- Vehicles Through 1K-7M 119 726 With Auxiliary Air Heater Control Module -J604- Check using the Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 (or succeeding model) under Heating & Air Conditioning, OBD-capable System; Auxiliary Heating; Electrical Components. Removing and installing, refer to «AUXILIARY AIR HEATER HEATING ELEMENT -Z35-, VEHICLES THROUGH 1K-7M 119 726»(ref-479481-S23443805962012061300000) . Vehicles From 1K-7M 119 726 A 3-stage Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35- is installed here; it is controlled by each motor control module via relays. Only installed on vehicles with Diesel engine without auxiliary heater. Removing and installing, refer to «AUXILIARY HEATER HEATING ELEMENT -Z35-, VEHICLES FROM 1K-7M 119 727»(ref-479481-S29575686282012061300000) .
  19. Heat Exchanger After replacing heater core, replace all the coolant. Refer to «DRAINING AND FILLING»(ref-479567-S10974463242012061300000) or «DRAINING AND FILLING»(ref-479574-S30062936622012061300000) . Removing and installing, refer to «HEAT EXCHANGER»(ref-479481-S22104988452012061300000) .

Remove the plastic screws -2- and the partition -1-.

Seal is first inserted into bulkhead between heater and engine compartment -A-, then placed on heater core.

Note. To prevent water from entering vehicle interior, note the installation position.
