AM FREQUENCY FILTER

Removing

Perform the following steps before starting

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

The rear lid trim panel must be removed first in order to be able to replace the AM frequency filter.

Remove the red circlip -1- in -direction of arrow- from the connector housing. Press the release -2- and disconnect the connector.

Do the same with the other two connectors.

Remove the 3 screws -arrows- and remove the frequency filter.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Perform the following steps before starting

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

Amplifier is installed under front left seat.

Move seat into uppermost and rearmost position.

Unclip the cover on the bottom of the seat in -direction of arrow-.

Remove screws -arrows- on amplifier.

Pull out the amplifier just far enough until the connector is accessible.

Move the lever in -direction of arrow-. This will push the connector out of the amplifier.

Remove amplifier.

Installing

Install the amplifier in -direction of arrow-.

When installing the amplifier, be sure to slide it in -direction of arrow A- so that it fits into the notch -arrow B-.
