PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK OTHER DTCS OUTPUT (IN ADDITION TO DTC P0711) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the ignition switch to ON. Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes. Read the DTCs using the Techstream. RESULT Display (DTC output) Proceed to P0711 A P0711 and other DTCs B HINT: If any DTCs codes besides P0711 are output, perform troubleshooting for those DTCs first. B --> See step 4 A: Go to next step
  2. CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL OK Automatic transmission fluid level is correct. NG --> ADD FLUID OK --> See step 3
  3. REPLACE TRANSMISSION WIRE (ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR). Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-394505-S03479659542011040800000)
  4. GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to «DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART»(ref-394515-S17127186292011040800000)
