CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS

Note. When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized. Make a note of the current settings before customizing. When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

  1. AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM (for Automatic Air Conditioning System) AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM Display Default Contents Setting Set Temperature Shift Normal To control with shifted temperature against display temperature +2 C / +1 C / Normal/ -1 C / -2 C Evaporator Control Automatic Function to set evaporator control to AUTOMATIC position (AUTO) to save power, or to coldest position (MANUAL) to dehumidify air and to prevent windows from fogging up Manual / Automatic Compressor / Air Inlet DEF Operation Link Function to turn A/C ON automatically linked with FRONT DEF button when A/C is OFF Normal / Link Compressor Mode Automatic Function to turn the A/C ON automatically by pressing the AUTO button when the blower is ON and the A/C is OFF Automatic / Manual Air Inlet Mode Automatic In case of turning A/C ON when you desire to make compartment cool down quickly, this is function to change mode automatically to RECIRCULATION mode Manual / Automatic Foot / DEF Auto Mode ON Function to turn the air flow from Foot / DEF ON automatically when AUTO MODE is ON ON / OFF Foot / DEF Automatic Blow up Function ON Function to change blower level automatically when defroster is ON ON / OFF Air Purifier Auto Cancel ON - ON / OFF
  2. LIGHTING SYSTEM ILLUMINATED ENTRY Display (Item) Default Contents Setting Lighting Time 15s Changes illumination duration after door closure. (It will quickly fade out in case of turning ignition switch ON.) 7.5s / 15s / 30s I/L when ACC OFF ON Illuminates light when ignition switch is turned from ACC to OFF. (Room light illuminated when interior light switch in DOOR position) ON / OFF I/L ON W/Door Key Unlock ON Function to light up room light when unlocking with door key cylinder. (Room light illuminated when interior light switch in DOOR position) ON / OFF Illumination System ON Function to light up foot light when one of the following occurs: Ignition switch is turned ON, door unlocked or door open. ON / OFF Light Control ON Function to light up foot light when ignition switch is ON and shift position is not P. ON / OFF LIGHT CONTROL (USA) Display (Item) Default Contents Setting DRL Function ON Daytime running light function ON or OFF. ON/OFF HINT: Sensitivity adjustments are difficult to confirm. Check by driving the customer's vehicle.

POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM: Tester Display Default Function Setting Unlock Key Twice ON Unlocks only driver side door when driver side door key cylinder turned to unlock once, and unlocks all doors when turned to unlock twice. For OFF setting, turning it once unlocks all doors. ON/OFF

WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM: Display (Item) Default Contents Setting Hazard Answer Back ON When LOCK switch on transmitter pressed, all hazard warning lights illuminate once. When UNLOCK switch pressed, all hazard warning lights illuminate twice ON / OFF Wireless Buzzer Resp ON Function that makes wireless buzzer sound for answer-back when transmitter LOCK / UNLOCK switch pressed ON / OFF Open Door Warning ON If door is not completely closed and transmitter LOCK switch is pressed, this function sounds a buzzer for 10 seconds ON / OFF Wireless Control ON ON / OFF of wireless door lock function ON / OFF Panic Alarm Function ON Operates security alarm when PANIC switch on transmitter continuously pressed for 1 second ON / OFF Unlock 2 Operation ON Function that unlocks driver side door when unlock switch on transmitter is pressed once, and unlocks all doors when pressed twice. If setting is OFF, pressing unlock switch once makes all doors unlock. ON / OFF Auto Lock Time 60s Function to change the time until relocking after unlocking with the wireless door lock function. 30s / 60s / 120s Wireless Auto Lock ON Function to control the automatic relocking of doors after unlocking with the wireless door lock function. ON / OFF

SMART KEY SYSTEM SMART KEY / ACCESS Display Default Contents Setting Park Wait Time*1 2.5s Function that sets the waiting time to permit unlocking the door after the door is locked with the entry lock function. 0.5s/1.5s/2.5s/5s Ignition Available Area*2 ALL Function to choose the available area for the key to start the engine and cancel the steering lock. FRONT/ALL*3 WARNING Display Default Contents Setting Key Low Battery Warning*4 ON Function that warns the driver that the key battery power is low. ON/OFF HINT: *1: Waiting time to permit unlocking door after locking. *2: Entry ignition available area. *3: "FRONT" means front, and "ALL" means front and rear. *4: Warn when key battery becomes weak.
