Engine Ignition System (2GR-FE): Removal & Installation Toyota RAV4 III

REMOVAL

  1. Remove the V-bank cover.
  2. Remove the intake air surge tank (See step 53 under «REMOVAL»(ref-265059-S01631031182007092000000) ).
  3. Remove the bolt and ignition coil.

INSTALLATION

  1. Install the 6 ignition coils with the 6 bolts. Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)
  2. Connect the 6 ignition coil connectors.
  3. Install intake air surge tank assembly (See step 22 under «INSTALLATION»(ref-265059-S19240684252007092000000) ).
  4. Install the V-bank cover.
