SHIFT INTERLOCK ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT
Note. For circuit reference, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION and/or WIRING DIAGRAMS .
Note. Do not disconnect shift interlock electronic control unit for testing. For all models, access shift interlock ECU. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Turn ignition switch to ON position.
Using DVOM, measure voltage by backprobing between specified shift interlock ECU terminals and ground with vehicle operated under specified condition. (Scheme 275) Ensure terminal "E" has continuity to ground at all times with connector connected. see scheme 119
Using DVOM, measure voltage by backprobing between specified shift interlock ECU terminals and ground with vehicle operated under specified condition. (Scheme 276) Using DVOM check for continuity at specified terminals.
Using DVOM, measure voltage by backprobing between specified shift interlock ECU terminals and ground with vehicle operated under specified condition. (Scheme 277)
Using DVOM, measure voltage by backprobing between specified shift interlock ECU terminals and ground with vehicle operated under specified condition. (Scheme 278) Using DVOM check for continuity between terminal No. 7 and ground.
Using DVOM, measure voltage by backprobing between specified shift interlock ECU terminals and ground with vehicle operated under specified condition. see scheme 120and (Scheme 279).
