Note. If problem exists in VVL system, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may be stored in Engine Control Module (ECM). See TESTING PROCEDURE under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article for retrieving of DTCs.
