- REPLACE USB DEVICE OR "iPod" Disconnect the USB device or "iPod" from the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly. Turn the ignition switch off. HINT: When this DTC has been stored, it is necessary to turn off the ignition switch to make it possible for the vehicle to recognize a new device when it is connected. for Automatic Sound Levelizer (ASL)
- This circuit is necessary for the Automatic Sound Levelizer (ASL) built into the radio receiver assembly. The Automatic Sound Levelizer (ASL) function automatically adjusts the audio system volume level in order to compensate for increased vehicle noise (vehicle noise tends to increase as vehicle speed increases). The ASL adjusts the volume level based upon vehicle speed signals that it receives from the combination meter assembly.
for "Bluetooth"
- Speed signals are received from the combination meter assembly and used to cancel "Bluetooth" function operation. The radio receiver assembly recognizes that the vehicle is being driven and makes it impossible to connect or register a "Bluetooth" device while driving.
HINT
- A voltage of 12 V or 5 V is output from each ECU and then input to the combination meter. The signal is changed to a pulse signal at the transistor in the combination meter. Each ECU controls the respective system based on the pulse signal.
- If a short occurs in any of the ECUs or in the wire harness connected to an ECU, all systems in the diagram below will not operate normally.

This circuit sends an operation signal from the steering pad switch to the radio receiver assembly.
If there is an open in the circuit, the audio system cannot be operated using the steering pad switch.

If there is an open in the circuit, noise can be heard from the speakers when changing the sound source.
If there is a short in the circuit, even though the radio receiver assembly is functioning, no sound, or only an extremely faint sound, can be heard.

Each audio system component connected to the AVC-LAN (communication bus) transfers switch signals using the audio visual communication local area network.
If a short to +B or short to ground occurs in the AVC-LAN, the audio system will not function normally because communication is not possible.

It also supplies power from the radio receiver assembly to the map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly).
