SHOCK ABSORBER
Compress and extend the shock absorber rod and check that there is no abnormal resistance or unusual sound during operation. If there is any abnormality, replace the shock absorber with a new one.
LOWER BALL JOINT
- Flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times, before installing the nut. (Scheme 32)
- Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously at a rate of 3-5 seconds per one turn and take the torque reading on the 5th turn. The torque reading should be 8.7-30.0 INCH lbs. (0.98-3.43 N.m). If torque reading is not as specified, replace ball joint.

STABILIZER BAR LINK
- Flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times, before installing the nut. (Scheme 33)
- Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously at a rate of 2-4 seconds per one turn and take the reading on the 5th turn.
- The reading should be 0.4-17.4 INCH lbs. (0.05-1.96 N.m).

Disposal
| WARNING | Be careful when drilling, chips may fly out and cause injury. The gas is odorless and non-poisonous. |
Fully extend the shock absorber rod. Using a drill, make a hole in the cylinder to discharge the gas.
