  1. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof) Using a molding remover, disengage the 4 clips. Disconnect the connector to remove the map light assembly.
  2. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/o Sliding Roof) Using a molding remover, disengage the 4 claws. Disconnect the connector to remove the map light assembly.
  3. REMOVE NO. 2 MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof) Disengage the 4 claws to remove the No. 2 map light assembly from the map light assembly.
  4. REMOVE OUTER ROOM LIGHT LENS (w/ Sliding Roof) Disengage the 6 claws to remove the outer room light lens from the No. 2 map light assembly.
  5. REMOVE MAP LIGHT BULB (w/ Sliding Roof) Remove the 2 map light bulbs from the No. 2 map light assembly.
  6. REMOVE MAP LIGHT BULB (w/o Sliding Roof) Turn the 2 map light sockets with the 2 map light bulbs as shown in the illustration to remove them as a unit. Remove the 2 map light bulbs from the 2 map light sockets.
  7. REMOVE TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof) Refer to «PROCEDURE - Step 4»(ref-635676-S01970401062014070300000)
  8. REMOVE TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY (w/o Sliding Roof) Refer to «PROCEDURE - Step 3»(ref-635676-S01970401062014070300000)

  1. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof) Apply battery voltage to the connector and check that the personal lights come on. Result Connection Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) --> 3 (+B1) Battery negative (-) --> 1 (GND) Personal light switches off Personal light LH and RH do not come on Personal light switch LH on Personal light LH comes on Personal light switch RH on Personal light RH comes on Personal light switches off and interior light door switch ON Personal light LH and RH comes on Battery positive (+) --> 3 (+B1) Battery negative (-) --> 2 (CTY) Personal light switches off and interior light door switch off Personal light LH and RH do not come on Personal light switches off and interior light door switch DOOR Personal light LH and RH comes on *a Component without harness connected (Map Light Assembly) If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly.
  2. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/o Sliding Roof) Apply battery voltage to the connector and check that the personal lights come on.
