PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (IN ADDITION TO DTC P2741) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the ignition switch to ON. Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes. Read the DTCs using the Techstream. RESULT Result Proceed to Only P2741 is output A P2741 and other DTCs are output B HINT: If any other codes besides P2741 are output, perform troubleshooting for those DTCs first. B --> See step 4 A: Go to next step
  2. CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL Check the transmission fluid level. Refer to «ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION»(ref-422112-S13504032952011092600000) . OK Automatic transmission fluid level is correct. NG --> See step 5 OK --> See step 3
  3. REPAIR OR REPLACE NO. 1 ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE). Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-422112-S26274979932011092600000)
  4. GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to «DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART»(ref-422146-S12757608912011092600000)
  5. ADD FLUID. Refer to «ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION»(ref-422112-S13504032952011092600000)
