  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Inspect the buckle switch. Fasten the seat belt (Buckle switch is ON). Inspect the continuity and resistance between the terminals. Standard: Release the seat belt (Buckle switch is OFF). Inspect the continuity and resistance between the terminals. Standard: If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt.
  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH CAUTION: Do not apply battery voltage to pretensioner connector. NOTE: On the LH side, use the same procedures as on the RH side. Inspect the tension reducer operation. Connect the positive lead from the battery to terminal 1 of connector A and the negative lead to terminal 2. Check that the operating noise that the magnetized solenoid is actuating the plunger is heard. Check that the rewinding volume of the seat belt increases when the seat belt is pulled out and the battery negative lead is disconnected. If the result is not as specified, replace the outer belt assembly.
  3. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH Inspect the buckle switch. Fasten the seat belt (Buckle switch is ON). Inspect the continuity and resistance between the terminals. Standard: Release the seat belt (Buckle switch is OFF). Inspect the continuity and resistance between the terminals. Standard: If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.

Standard: Release the seat belt (Buckle switch is OFF). Inspect the continuity and resistance between the terminals. Standard: If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly. Inspect the circuit for the airbag seat position sensor. Inspect the continuity between connector A and the connector for the airbag seat position sensor. Standard: If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.
