When troubleshooting air bag system, be sure to follow «AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK»(ref-514550-S18511090982012112100000) (Except advanced Air Bag) or «AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK»(ref-514551-S22367577742012112100000) (Advanced Air Bag). Bypassing these procedures may result in extended diagnostic time, incorrect diagnosis, and incorrect parts replacement.
2. Never use electrical test equipment other than that specified. WARNING: Measuring the resistance of any air bag (inflator) module (driver, passenger, side or curtain module) or any seat belt pretensioner (driver or passenger pretensioner) with a tester is dangerous, as the electric current from the tester may trigger the air bag or pretensioner. Never attempt to measure the resistance of an air bag (inflator) module or seat belt pretensioner.
