Installation

  1. Remove door trim. Front: «FRONT DOOR GLASS REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-585591-S29188708242013111200000) Rear: «REAR DOOR GLASS REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-585591-S42265654482013111200000)
  2. Remove 3 screws and remove front or rear speaker (1).
  3. Disconnect speaker connector.

Reverse removal procedure.

  1. Remove front door trim, see «FRONT DOOR GLASS REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-585591-S29188708242013111200000) .
  2. Remove 2 screws and remove tweeter (1).
  3. Disconnect tweeter connector.

  1. Remove instrument panel center speaker cover, see «INSTRUMENT PANEL DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY»(ref-585593-S08785224352013111200000) .
  2. Remove 2 screws and remove center speaker (1).
  3. Disconnect speaker connector (2).

  1. Open trunk lid.
  2. Disconnect sub woofer connector (1).
  3. Remove partition trim, see «TRIM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-585603-S37582776972013111200000) .
  4. Remove 4 bolts (1).
  5. Remove sub woofer (2) from partition panel (3).

Reverse removal procedure.

Reference: XM ANTENNA INSPECTION (IF EQUIPPED)

Reverse removal procedure noting the following point.

  1. Tighten antenna bolt to specified torque. Tightening torque Antenna bolt: 9.0 N.m (0.92 kg-m, 7.0 lbf-ft)

  1. Remove instrument panel center lower box, see «COMBINATION METER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-585593-S21196871652013111200000) .
  2. Disconnect USB socket connector (1), and then remove USB socket (2) from instrument panel center lower box (3) while releasing the locks (4).

Reverse removal procedure.

Microphone (Overhead Console Box) Removal and Installation

Refer to OVERHEAD CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Removal

  1. Remove trunk lid trim. Refer to «TRIM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-585603-S37582776972013111200000)
  2. Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
  3. Disconnect rearview camera connector (1).
  4. Detach rearview camera connector from trunk lid panel (2).
  5. Remove rearview camera (3) from trunk lid panel while holding claws (4) pressed in directions of arrows.

Reverse removal procedure.
