ONLY ONE MIRROR DOES NOT OPERATE

Check for poor connector terminal contact, or open or shorted wiring between power mirror switch and inoperative mirror. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary. Check for inoperative mirror motor(s). See POWER MIRROR MOTOR under COMPONENT TESTS.

POWER MIRROR SWITCH

Remove power mirror switch from instrument panel. Ensure continuity exists between appropriate power mirror switch terminals with switch in appropriate position. See appropriate POWER MIRROR SWITCH CONTINUITY table. (Scheme 4) If continuity does not exist as specified, replace power mirror switch.

POWER MIRROR MOTOR

Remove garnish molding for access to power mirror electrical connector. (Scheme 5) It may be necessary to remove mirror from door for access to electrical connector. Disconnect power mirror harness electrical connector. Using 12-volt power source, connect positive and negative leads to specified terminals. (Scheme 6)or (Scheme 7). See POWER MIRROR MOTOR CONTINUITY table. If power mirror motor does not operate as specified, replace power mirror assembly. See POWER MIRROR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
