INSPECTION

Measure the battery voltage and check electrolyte.

Standard voltage: 12 V

Specific gravity: 1.260 or more

DTC DETECTING CONDITION

Defective harness connector

TROUBLE SYMPTOM

Communication is impossible between the airbag control module and the Subaru Select Monitor.

Turn the ignition switch to ON, and confirm that the airbag warning light remains on for approx. 6 seconds then turns off afterwards.

DTC B11E0 ROLLOVER IGNITION

This DTC is indicated when the curtain airbag module and the seat belt pretensioner are deployed.

Once this DTC is displayed, the memory cannot be cleared. Replace the following parts.

1. Airbag control module Refer to «AIRBAG CONTROL MODULE»(ref-646016-S33983969252014072500000) .
2. Curtain airbag module (operating side) Refer to «CURTAIN AIRBAG MODULE»(ref-646016-S42795853612014072500000) .
3. Curtain airbag sensor (operating side) Refer to «CURTAIN AIRBAG SENSOR»(ref-646016-S35772580132014072500000) .
4. Front outer seat belt with pretensioner (operating side) Refer to «FRONT SEAT BELT»(ref-646029-S16585988272014072500000) .

This DTC is indicated when the front airbag module and the pretensioner are deployed.

Once this DTC is displayed, the memory cannot be cleared. Therefore replace the following parts.

If DTC B1610 is displayed, the circuit within the front sub sensor (RH) is faulty.

Replace the front sub sensor (RH). Refer to FRONT SUB SENSOR .

1. Open or short circuit in harness of front sensor bus (RH).
2. Front sub sensor (RH) is faulty.
3. Airbag control module is faulty.

Front sub sensor (LH) is faulty.

If DTC B1615 is displayed, the circuit within the front sub sensor (LH) is faulty.

Replace the front sub sensor (LH). Refer to FRONT SUB SENSOR .

1. Open or short circuit in harness of front sensor bus (LH).
2. Front sub sensor (LH) is faulty.
3. Airbag control module is faulty.

Front sub sensor (RH) is misinstalled.

1. Open or short circuit in harness of side sensor bus (RH).
2. Side airbag sensor (RH) and curtain airbag sensor (RH) are faulty.
3. Airbag control module is faulty.

Side airbag sensor (LH) is faulty.

When DTC B1625 is displayed, the circuit within the side airbag sensor (LH) is faulty.

Replace the side airbag sensor (LH). Refer to SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR .

1. Open or short circuit in harness of side sensor bus (LH).
2. Side airbag sensor (LH) and curtain airbag sensor (LH) are faulty.
3. Airbag control module is faulty.

Curtain airbag sensor (RH) is faulty.

If DTC B1630 is displayed, the circuit within the curtain airbag sensor (RH) is faulty.

Replace the curtain airbag sensor (RH). Refer to CURTAIN AIRBAG SENSOR .

1. Open or short circuit in harness of side sensor bus (RH).
2. Side airbag sensor (RH) and curtain airbag sensor (RH) are faulty.
3. Airbag control module is faulty.

If DTC B1635 is displayed, the circuit within the curtain airbag sensor (LH) is faulty.

Replace the curtain airbag sensor (LH). Refer to CURTAIN AIRBAG SENSOR .
