1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
2. Set the tire to the straight-ahead position.
3. Remove the airbag module. Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-325330-S32011969732009071800000) , Driver's Airbag Module . WARNING: Always refer to "Airbag System" before performing service on the airbag modules. Refer to «CAUTION»(ref-325330-S05668494092009071800000) , General Description .
4. Place alignment marks on the steering wheel and steering shaft.
5. Remove the steering wheel nut, and then draw out the steering wheel from shaft using steering puller.
