Steering Column: Removal & Installation Subaru BRZ ZC

Installation

1. Confirm that the front tires are in the straight-ahead position.
2. Steering roll connector centering (Refer to «INSPECTION»(ref-619161-S05193861552014053000000) )
3. Install the cruise control main switch (Refer to «INSTALLATION»(ref-619207-S01784876462014053000000) )
4. Install the transmission shift switch (with paddle shifter). (Refer to «INSTALLATION»(ref-619159-S20303259442014053000000) )
5. Install the steering wheel ASSY. Line up the alignment marks and install the steering wheel ASSY onto the steering column ASSY. Install the nut. Standard value: T=39N.m {398kgf.cm} {28.8ft.lbf} Connect each connector to the steering roll connector.
6. Install the driver's airbag module. (Refer to «INSTALLATION»(ref-619161-S00293298892014053000000) )
7. Connection of the battery ground terminal Standard value: T=6.0N.m {61kgf.cm} {4.4ft.lbf}
8. Confirm the steering wheel ASSY center position.
9. Inspect the airbag warning lamp (Refer to «AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATION PATTERN»(ref-619160-S12522069062014053000000) )
