3. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY W/BRACKET Remove the 4 bolts. Disconnect the connector. Remove the radio receiver assembly w/bracket.
4. REMOVE RADIO BRACKET NO. 1 Remove the 4 screws and the radio bracket No. 1.
5. REMOVE RADIO BRACKET NO. 2 Remove the 4 screws and the radio bracket No. 2.
6. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSY

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH (See «OVERHAUL»(ref-224570-S18241251712006031000000) )

4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSY Disconnect the connector. Using a drill of less than 4 mm (0.16 in.) diameter, drill out the 3 rivet heads and remove the front No. 1 speaker assy from the front door panel. Gently rotate the drill around the rivet head to cut the flanges. NOTE: Prizing the rivet out with the a drill may lead to damage the rivet hole or break the drill bit. CAUTION: Take care as the cut rivet is hot. Even if the flange is cut off, continue drilling and push out the remaining fragments with the drill. Using a vacuum cleaner, remove the drilled rivet and dust from the inside of the front door panel.
5. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSY Using an air riveter or a hand riveter, install 3 new strike rivets to the front No. 1 speaker assy on the front door panel. HINT: Install the new strike rivets in order (Scheme 10) NOTE: Do not prize with a riveter as it could be damaged and the rivet loosened on the mandrel could be bent. Do not tilt the riveter or disconnect the rivet from the materials because until the materials are securely tightened, misalignment may occur. Only install the rivet when there is no clearance between the materials to be secured. Connect the connector.

4. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER COVER Disengage the 2 claws and remove the cigarette lighter cover.
5. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSY Remove the cigarette lighter knob and element assy. Turn the socket in the direction (Scheme 18), disengage the claw between the socket and the cigarette lighter bezel stay, and pull out the socket. Align the socket with the notch on the cigarette lighter bezel stay, and remove the cigarette lighter assy.
6. INSTALL CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSY Align the socket with the notch on the cigarette lighter bezel stay and push the cigarette lighter assy in as hard as possible. Install the cigarette lighter knob and element assy.

1. INSPECT WINDOW GLASS (ANTENNA WIRE) NOTE: When cleaning the glass, use a soft, dry cloth, and wipe the glass in the direction of the wire. Be careful not to damage the wires. Do not use detergents or glass cleaners with abrasive ingredients. When measuring voltage, wind a piece of tin foil around the top of the negative probe and press the foil against the wire with your finger (Scheme 20) Inspect the continuity, at the center of each antenna wire (Scheme 21)
2. REPAIR WINDOW GLASS (ANTENNA WIRE) Clean the broken wire tips with grease, wax and silicone remover. Place masking tape along both sides of the wire to be repaired. Thoroughly mix the repair agent (DuPont paste No. 4817). Using a fine tip brush, apply a small amount to the wire. After a few minutes, remove the masking tape. Do not repair the defogger wire for at least 24 hours.
