PROCEDURE

1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (WINDOW LOCK SWITCH) Turn the window lock switch off and operate the switches on the master switch. Check that the remote up/down function operates normally. OK Remote up/down function operates normally. NG --> See step 2 OK --> END
2. CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION Check that the passenger side door power window manual up/down function operates normally. OK Manual up/down function operates normally. NG --> See step 4 OK --> See step 3
3. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-451234-S23518341842012020700000)
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY) Disconnect the E1 power window regulator master switch assembly connector. Disconnect the D1 power window regulator switch assembly connector. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E1-18 (D) - D1-2 (SD) Always Below 1 ohms E1-16 (U) - D1-5 (SU) Always Below 1 ohms E1-18 (D) or D1-2 (SD) - Body ground Always 10 kohms or higher E1-16 (U) or D1-5 (SU) - Body ground Always 10 kohms or higher NG --> REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR OK --> See step 5

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Voltage Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition E1-15 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
