  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH (SEE «OVERHAUL»(ref-224796-S32602758482006031100000) )

  4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSY Disconnect the connector. Drill out the 3 rivet heads using a drill with a bit diameter of less than 4 mm (0.16 in.), and remove the front No.1 speaker assy from the front door panel. Operate the drill along the rivet head circumference and cut out the flange. CAUTION: Be careful. The cut rivet is very hot. NOTE: Prying the rivet using a drill may scratch the rivet hole or break the drill bit. After drilling out the flange, continue drilling to push out the shreds on the drill. Using a vacuum cleaner, remove the holed rivet and foreign matter from the front door panel.
  5. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSY Using an air riveter or hand riveter, install 3 new strike rivets on the front No.1 speaker assy on the front door panel. HINT: Install the new strike rivets in order (Scheme 2) NOTE: Do not tilt the rivet head. Doing so may scratch the riveter or bend the loosened rivet on the mandrel. Do not tilt the riveter or remove the rivet from the material. Material that is not securely tightened may deviate. The rivet should be installed only when there is no clearance between materials to ensure secure installation. Connect the connector.

  16. REMOVE ANTENNA NUT Using a snap ring pliers, remove the antenna nut (Scheme 9) Tool Part Number: Snap Ring Pliers: 09905-00013 Claw: 09904-00060 HINT: Wrap the tip of the snap ring pliers with protective tape to prevent damage to the parts.
  17. REMOVE ANTENNA ORNAMENT Remove the antenna ornament.
  18. REMOVE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSY Disconnect the connector. Remove the nut. Remove the amplifier antenna assy in the direction shown by the arrow in (Scheme 12).
  19. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSY RH (SEE «OVERHAUL»(ref-224793-S13116922602006031100000) )

  3. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER COVER Disengage the 2 claws and remove the cigarette lighter cover.
  4. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSY Remove the cigarette lighter knob and element assy. Turn the socket in the direction (Scheme 15), disengage the claw between the socket and the cigarette lighter bezel stay, and pull out the socket. Align the socket with the notch on the cigarette lighter bezel stay, and remove the cigarette lighter assy.
  5. INSTALL CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSY Align the socket with the notch on the cigarette lighter bezel stay and push the cigarette lighter assy in as hard as possible. Install the cigarette lighter knob and element assy.

  5. REMOVE POWER POINT SOCKET ASSY Turn the socket in the direction (Scheme 17), disengage the claw between the socket and the power point socket cover, and pull out the socket. Align the socket with the notch on the power point socket cover, and remove the power point socket assy.
  6. INSTALL POWER POINT SOCKET ASSY Align the socket with the notch on the power point socket cover and push the power point socket assy in as hard as possible.
