Interior Trim: Removal & Installation Saturn ION I

Removal Procedure

1. Disengage the carpet retainer by pulling the retainer at the clip locations.
2. Pull the carpet retainer out from behind the hood release handle.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the front carpet retainer. Ensure that the carpet retainer is correctly located behind the hood release handle.
2. Install the carpet retainer by pressing the retainer at the clip locations.

1. Disengage the carpet retainer by pulling the retainer at the clip locations.
2. Remove the carpet retainer.

1. Tuck the carpet retainer beneath the edge of the rear seat cushion.
2. Install the carpet retainer by pressing the retainer at the clip locations.

1. Remove the rearward end of the front carpet retainer
2. Disengage the rear carpet retainers by pulling the retainers at the clip location.
3. Remove the rear carpet retainer.

1. Position the rear carpet retainer in the vehicle. Ensure that the forward end is underneath the front carpet retainer.
2. Install the carpet retainers by pressing the retainers at the clip locations.

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 8 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S03459388342005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 8 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S13357807092005101000000) .
2. Remove the front seats. Refer to «Seat Replacement - Front Bucket»(ref-196986-S39525070032005101000000) in Seats.
3. Remove the center floor console. Refer to «Console Replacement - Front Floor»(ref-196967-S37494995742005101000000) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
4. Remove the carpet retainers. Refer to «Carpet Retainer Replacement - Front»(ref-196949-S05488890892005101000000) and to «Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear (Sedan)»(ref-196949-S25140213972005101000000) or «Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear (Coupe)»(ref-196949-S30635085712005101000000) .
5. Remove the anchor bolts from the front seat belt retractors.
6. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to «Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Coupe)»(ref-196986-S04335344492005101000000) or «Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Sedan)»(ref-196986-S03213616752005101000000) in Seats.
7. On the sedan, pull the lower clips to disengage the clips from the center pillar garnish molding.
8. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.

1. Position the carpet in the vehicle. Align the front holes over the weld studs in the floor pan. Ensure that the carpet is lying properly over the console area. Tuck the carpet behind the H brace. Fit the carpet over all of the rear seat heat ducts.
2. On the sedan, tuck the carpet edge under the center pillar lower trim. Push the clips to engage the clips to the lower trim.
3. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to «Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Coupe)»(ref-196986-S04335344492005101000000) or «Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Sedan)»(ref-196986-S03213616752005101000000) in Seats.
4. Install the anchor bolts to the front seat belt retractors. Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
5. Install the carpet retainers. Refer to «Carpet Retainer Replacement - Front»(ref-196949-S05488890892005101000000) and to «Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear (Sedan)»(ref-196949-S25140213972005101000000) or «Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear (Coupe)»(ref-196949-S30635085712005101000000) .
6. Install the center floor console. Refer to «Console Replacement - Front Floor»(ref-196967-S37494995742005101000000) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
7. Install the front seats. Refer to «Seat Replacement - Front Bucket»(ref-196986-S39525070032005101000000) in Seats.
8. Enable the SIR system. Refer to «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 8 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S03459388342005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 8 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S13357807092005101000000) in SIR.

1. Remove the anchor bolt from the front seat belt.
2. Remove the seat belt webbing from the front seat head restraint webbing guide.
3. Remove the door striker trim by pulling on the trim.
4. Remove the weatherstrip in the bezel area.
5. Remove the webbing trim bezel outboard by sliding the bezel from the headliner.
6. Slide the trim bezel off of the seat belt webbing and remove the bezel from the vehicle.

1. Route the seat belt webbing through the trim bezel.
2. Slide the trim bezel into the slot in the headliner.
3. Replace the weatherstrip.
4. Position the door striker trim in the vehicle.
5. Push on the trim to engage the trim clips.
6. Install the seat belt anchor bolt. Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
7. Install the seat belt webbing in the head restraint webbing guide.

1. Disable the SIR. Refer to «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S00773360792005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S36348943332005101000000) and «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S41368052052005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S30577493352005101000000) in SIR.
2. Remove the coat hooks. Refer to «Coat Hook Replacement»(ref-196949-S15945038132005101000000) .
3. Remove the trim panel from the high mount stop lamp by pulling at the clip locations.
4. Remove the center high mount stop lamp. Refer to «High Mounted Stop Lamp Replacement»(ref-196945-S40558950442005101000000) in Lighting Systems.
5. Remove the garnish molding from the upper lock pillar. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Lock Pillar Upper»(ref-196949-S41897412932005101000000) .
6. Remove the rear push-in retainer.
7. Remove the dome lamp. Refer to «Dome Lamp Replacement»(ref-196945-S05553567172005101000000) .
8. Remove the sunshades. Refer to «Sunshade Replacement»(ref-196949-S08893981782005101000000) .
9. Remove the sunshade retainers. Refer to «Sunshade Retainer Bezel Replacement»(ref-196949-S09209204402005101000000) .
10. Remove the windshield garnish moldings. Refer to «Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement»(ref-196949-S29522542722005101000000) .
11. On the sedan, remove the garnish molding from the upper center pillar. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Center Pillar Upper»(ref-196949-S27881506382005101000000) .
12. On the coupe, remove the door striker trim by pulling on the trim.
13. On the coupe, remove the anchor bolts from the front seat belts.
14. On the coupe, remove the seat belt webbing from the front seat head restraint webbing guides.
15. Disconnect the electrical harnesses.
16. Disengage any rosebud retainers which hold the wiring to the sheet metal.
17. Position the front seats in the fully rearward and fully reclined positions.
18. Remove the door seals from the headliner edge.
19. Starting on the right and the left sides of the sun roof opening, carefully disengage the hook and loop fasteners which hold the headliner to the roof panel.
20. Disconnect the sunroof motor wiring harness.
21. Lower the headliner.
22. On the coupe, remove the trim bezels from the headliner.
23. For the sedan, bring the headliner out through the rear passenger side door.
24. If equipped, remove the reading lamp. Refer to «Reading Lamp Replacement»(ref-196945-S29666598052005101000000) in Lighting Systems.

1. Install the reading lamp. Refer to «Reading Lamp Replacement»(ref-196945-S29666598052005101000000) in Lighting Systems.
2. Place the headliner in the vehicle.
3. Connect the sunroof motor wiring harness.
4. On the coupe, install the trim bezels on the headliner.
5. Position the headliner against the roof of the vehicle.
6. Press around the sunroof opening over the hook and loop locations to engage the hooks.
7. While holding the headliner in place, replace the door seals over the headliner edge.
8. Connect the electrical harnesses.
9. Install the rosebud retainers which hold the wiring to the sheet metal.
10. On the sedan, install the garnish molding to the upper center pillar. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Center Pillar Upper»(ref-196949-S27881506382005101000000) .
11. Install the center high mount stop lamp. Refer to «High Mounted Stop Lamp Replacement»(ref-196945-S40558950442005101000000) in Lighting Systems.
12. Install the windshield garnish moldings. Refer to «Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement»(ref-196949-S29522542722005101000000) .
13. On the coupe, install the door striker trim by pushing until the trim clips engage.
14. On the coupe, install the front seat belt anchor bolts. Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
15. On the coupe, replace the webbing in the front seat head restraint webbing guides.
16. Install the sunshade retainers. Refer to «Sunshade Retainer Bezel Replacement»(ref-196949-S09209204402005101000000) .
17. Install the sunshades. Refer to «Sunshade Replacement»(ref-196949-S08893981782005101000000) .
18. Install the dome lamp. Refer to «Dome Lamp Replacement»(ref-196945-S05553567172005101000000) .
19. Install the rear push-in retainer.
20. Install the garnish molding to the upper lock pillar. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Lock Pillar Upper»(ref-196949-S41897412932005101000000) .
21. Position the trim panel to the high mounted stop lamp.
22. Push on the panel to engage the clips.
23. Install the coat hooks. Refer to «Coat Hook Replacement»(ref-196949-S15945038132005101000000) .
24. Enable the SIR. Refer to «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S00773360792005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S36348943332005101000000) and «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S41368052052005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S30577493352005101000000) in SIR.

1. Disable the SIR. Refer to «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S00773360792005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S36348943332005101000000) and «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S41368052052005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S30577493352005101000000) in SIR.
2. Remove the coat hooks. Refer to «Coat Hook Replacement»(ref-196949-S15945038132005101000000) .
3. Remove the trim panel from the high mount stop lamp by pulling at the clip locations.
4. Remove the center high mount stop lamp. Refer to «High Mounted Stop Lamp Replacement»(ref-196945-S40558950442005101000000) in Lighting Systems.
5. Remove the garnish molding from the upper lock pillar. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Lock Pillar Upper»(ref-196949-S41897412932005101000000) .
6. Remove the rear push-in retainer.
7. Remove the dome lamp. Refer to «Dome Lamp Replacement»(ref-196945-S05553567172005101000000) .
8. Remove the sunshades. Refer to «Sunshade Replacement»(ref-196949-S08893981782005101000000) .
9. Remove the sunshade retainers. Refer to «Sunshade Retainer Bezel Replacement»(ref-196949-S09209204402005101000000) .
10. Remove the windshield garnish moldings. Refer to «Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement»(ref-196949-S29522542722005101000000) .
11. On the sedan, remove the garnish molding from the upper center pillar. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Center Pillar Upper»(ref-196949-S27881506382005101000000) .
12. On the coupe, remove the door striker trim by pulling on the trim.
13. On the coupe, remove the anchor bolts from the front seat belts.
14. On the coupe, remove the seat belt webbing from the front seat head restraint webbing guides.
15. Disconnect the electrical harnesses.
16. Disengage any rosebud retainers which hold the wiring to the sheet metal.
17. Position the front seats in the fully rearward and fully reclined positions. If equipped, fold the fold flat seat forward.
18. Remove the door seals from the headliner edge.
19. Lower the headliner.
20. On the coupe, remove the trim bezels from the headliner.
21. On the sedan, remove the headliner by bringing the headliner out through the rear passenger side door.
22. If equipped, remove the reading lamp. Refer to «Reading Lamp Replacement»(ref-196945-S29666598052005101000000) in Lighting Systems.

1. Install the reading lamp. Refer to «Reading Lamp Replacement»(ref-196945-S29666598052005101000000) in Lighting Systems.
2. Place the headliner in the vehicle.
3. On the coupe, install the trim bezels on the headliner.
4. While holding the headliner in place, replace the door seals over the headliner edge.
5. Connect the electrical harnesses.
6. Install the rosebud retainers which hold the wiring to the sheet metal.
7. On the sedan, install the garnish molding to the upper center pillar. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Center Pillar Upper»(ref-196949-S27881506382005101000000) .
8. Install the center high mount stop lamp. Refer to «High Mounted Stop Lamp Replacement»(ref-196945-S40558950442005101000000) in Lighting Systems.
9. On the coupe, install the door striker trim by pushing until the trim clips engage.
10. On the coupe, install the front seat belt anchor bolts. Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
11. On the coupe, replace the webbing in the front seat head restraint webbing guides.
12. Install the windshield garnish moldings. Refer to «Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement»(ref-196949-S29522542722005101000000) .
13. Install the sunshade retainers. Refer to «Sunshade Retainer Bezel Replacement»(ref-196949-S09209204402005101000000) .
14. Install the sunshades. Refer to «Sunshade Replacement»(ref-196949-S08893981782005101000000) .
15. Install the dome lamp. Refer to «Dome Lamp Replacement»(ref-196945-S05553567172005101000000) .
16. Install the rear push-in retainer.
17. Install the garnish molding to the upper lock pillar. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Lock Pillar Upper»(ref-196949-S41897412932005101000000) .
18. Position the trim panel to the high mounted stop lamp.
19. Push on the panel to engage the clips.
20. Install the coat hooks. Refer to «Coat Hook Replacement»(ref-196949-S15945038132005101000000) .
21. Enable the SIR. Refer to «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S00773360792005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S36348943332005101000000) and to «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S41368052052005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S30577493352005101000000) in SIR.

1. Using a small flat-bladed tool, release the push-in retainer from the center of the coat hook.
2. Remove the coat hook from the headliner.

1. Install the coat hook into the headliner.
2. Install the push-in retainer. Press the retainer into place until fully seated.

1. Remove the sunshade screws.
2. Remove the sunshade.

1. Install the sunshade.
2. Install the sunshade screws. Tighten: Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

1. Remove the sunshade bezel retainer screw.
2. Remove the bezel.

1. Install the sunshade retainer bezel.
2. Install the bezel screw. Tighten: Tighten the screw to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

1. Using a small, flat-bladed tool, remove the fastener trim cover.
2. Remove the screw from the windshield garnish molding.
3. Disengage the retaining clips by pulling on the garnish molding.
4. Lift the bottom of the molding out from between the windshield pillar and the instrument panel. Remove the molding from the vehicle.

1. Position the windshield garnish molding in the vehicle. Install the molding by pushing the molding over the clip locations.
2. Install the screw to the windshield garnish molding. Tighten: Tighten the screw to 2.3 N.m (21 lb in).
3. Install the fastener trim cover.
4. Replace the door seal over the trim edge.

1. Remove the height adjuster knob for the seat belt webbing: Insert a small awl into the hole underneath the knob and push. Lift up on the bottom of the knob. Unsnap the top of the knob from the seat belt height adjuster.
2. Remove the bolt from the adjustable guide loop on the front seat belt.
3. Pull the lower end of the center trim inboard to disengage the lower clip.
4. Remove the center pillar trim from the upper trim clip by sliding the trim up.

1. Install the center pillar trim to the upper trim clip by sliding the trim down. Ensure that the trim is properly seated in the upper clip.
2. Push the lower trim clip to install the clip.
3. Install the bolt to the adjustable guide loop on the front seat belt. Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
4. Install the height adjuster knob. Snap the top end of the knob onto the seat belt height adjuster. Push on the bottom of the knob until the knob snaps into place.
5. Inspect the seat belt for proper operation.

1. Disable the SIR. Refer to «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S00773360792005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S36348943332005101000000) and to «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S41368052052005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S30577493352005101000000) in SIR.
2. Pull to remove the rear carpet retainer.
3. Pull to disengage the rearward clips from the front carpet retainer.
4. Remove the anchor bolt from the front seat belt retractor.
5. Remove the height adjuster knob for the seat belt webbings. Refer to «Seat Belt Height Adjuster Knob Replacement - Front»(ref-196983-S36640342522005101000000) in Seat Belts.
6. Remove the bolt from the adjustable guide loop.
7. Pull to disengage the garnish molding trim clips.
8. Slide the top of the lower pillar trim out from beneath the upper pillar trim.
9. Remove the small trim panel door in the center pillar garnish molding.
10. Feed the seat belt webbing, the anchor bolt, and the D-ring bolt through the center pillar garnish molding.
11. Remove the garnish molding from the vehicle.

1. Feed the seat belt webbing, the anchor bolt, and the D-ring bolt through the opening in the garnish molding.
2. Position the top of the lower center pillar molding beneath the upper pillar molding.
3. Push on the trim clips until the clips engage.
4. Install the door seal over the edge of the garnish molding.
5. Install the small trim panel behind the seat belt webbing.
6. Install the adjustable guide loop webbing bolt. Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
7. Install the height adjuster knob for the seat belt webbings. Refer to «Seat Belt Height Adjuster Knob Replacement - Front»(ref-196983-S36640342522005101000000) in Seat Belts.
8. Install the anchor bolt to the front seat belt. Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
9. Install the rear carpet retainer by pressing until the trim clips engage.
10. Install the rearward clips of the front carpet retainer over the edge of the center pillar garnish molding.
11. Enable the SIR. Refer to «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S00773360792005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S36348943332005101000000) and to «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S41368052052005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S30577493352005101000000) in SIR.

1. Remove the upper garnish molding from the rear access door. Refer to «Upper Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Access Door (Coupe)»(ref-196946-S17146688622005101000000) .
2. Pull the garnish molding to disengage the trim clips.

1. Position the garnish molding.
2. Push on the molding until the trim clips engage.
3. Install the upper garnish molding to the rear access door. Refer to «Upper Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Access Door (Coupe)»(ref-196946-S17146688622005101000000) .

1. Using a small, flat-bladed tool, pry off the screw cover.
2. Remove the screw from the lock pillar upper garnish molding.
3. Remove the rear defroster harness to prevent damage.
4. Pull at the clip locations to disengage the garnish molding. Remove the lock pillar upper garnish molding.
5. On the coupe, carefully disengage the lower tabs from the lower garnish molding on the lock pillar.

1. Position the lower tabs of the upper molding in the slots of the lower molding.
2. Position the lock pillar upper garnish molding in the vehicle. Install the molding by pushing the molding over the clip locations.
3. Install the screw to the lock pillar upper garnish molding. Tighten: Tighten the screw to 2.3 N.m (21 lb in).
4. Install the screw trim cover.
5. Install the rear defroster harness.
6. Replace the door opening seal over the trim edge.

1. On the coupe, remove the upper garnish molding on the lock pillar. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Lock Pillar Upper»(ref-196949-S41897412932005101000000) .
2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to «Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Coupe)»(ref-196986-S04335344492005101000000) or «Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Sedan)»(ref-196986-S03213616752005101000000) in Seats.
3. Remove the rear carpet retainer. Refer to «Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear (Sedan)»(ref-196949-S25140213972005101000000) or «Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear (Coupe)»(ref-196949-S30635085712005101000000) .
4. Lower the rear folding seat back: Open the trunk. Pull the latch release handle.
5. Remove the push-in retainer.
6. Disengage the clips by pulling at the clip locations.
7. Slide the lock pillar trim out from underneath the seat belt webbing.
8. Remove the lower garnish molding at the lock pillar from the vehicle.
9. Remove the rerouter from the child shoulder belt guide. Refer to «Guide Replacement - Rear Seat Shoulder Belt»(ref-196983-S34415237062005101000000) in Seat Belts.

1. Install the rerouter to the child shoulder belt guide. Refer to «Guide Replacement - Rear Seat Shoulder Belt»(ref-196983-S34415237062005101000000) in Seat Belts.
2. Position the lower garnish molding at the lock pillar, under the seat belt webbing.
3. Install the trim clips by pushing at the clip locations.
4. Install the push-in retainer.
5. Install the door opening seal over the edge of the trim.
6. Lift the rear folding seat back and latch into place. Pull up on the seat back to ensure that the latch is engaged.
7. Install the rear carpet retainer. Refer to «Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear (Sedan)»(ref-196949-S25140213972005101000000) or «Carpet Retainer Replacement - Rear (Coupe)»(ref-196949-S30635085712005101000000) .
8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to «Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Coupe)»(ref-196986-S04335344492005101000000) or «Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Sedan)»(ref-196986-S03213616752005101000000) in Seats.
9. Inspect the rear seat belt for proper operation.
10. On the coupe, install the upper garnish molding on the lock pillar. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Lock Pillar Upper»(ref-196949-S41897412932005101000000) .

1. Remove the damaged or broken bezel from the rear window shelf trim.
2. Remove the trim bezel from the seat belt webbing.

1. Slide the seat belt webbing through the slot in the new bezel.
2. Install the trim bezel in the rear window shelf trim.

1. If equipped, disable the roof rail airbag module. Refer to «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S00773360792005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S36348943332005101000000) and to «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Coupe)»(ref-196951-S41368052052005101000000) or «SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Sedan)»(ref-196951-S30577493352005101000000) in SIR.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to «Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Coupe)»(ref-196986-S04335344492005101000000) or «Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Sedan)»(ref-196986-S03213616752005101000000) in Seats.
3. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to «Seat Back Replacement - Rear Split Folding»(ref-196986-S25678450462005101000000) in Seats.
4. Remove the upper lock pillar trim. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Lock Pillar Upper»(ref-196949-S41897412932005101000000) .
5. Remove the lower lock pillar trim. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Lock Pillar Lower»(ref-196949-S34824073122005101000000) .
6. Remove the rear seat belt anchor bolts.
7. Remove the trim panel push-in fasteners.
8. Reach underneath the trim panel depress the bezel tabs and push the webbing bezels up and out of the trim panel.
9. Feed the seat belt webbing, the webbing bezels, and the anchor bolts back through the holes in the shelf trim.
10. Remove the rear window shelf trim from the vehicle.

1. Install the rear window shelf trim.
2. Feed the seat belt webbing, the anchor bolts, and the bezels through the slots in the shelf trim.

4. Install the push-in fasteners.
5. Install the rear seat belt anchor bolts. Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

7. Install the upper lock pillar trim. Refer to «Garnish Molding Replacement - Lock Pillar Upper»(ref-196949-S41897412932005101000000) .
8. Install the rear seat back. Refer to «Seat Back Replacement - Rear Split Folding»(ref-196986-S25678450462005101000000) in Seats.
9. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to «Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Coupe)»(ref-196986-S04335344492005101000000) or «Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Sedan)»(ref-196986-S03213616752005101000000) in Seats.
10. If equipped, enable the roof rail airbag module.
