Secondary and Configurable Customer Controls: Removal & Installation Saturn Astra I

Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the steering wheel from the straight-ahead position by 90 degrees to the left.
  2. Release the steering wheel control switch panel. Remove the bolt (1).
  3. Turn the steering wheel from the straight ahead position by 90 degrees to the right.
  4. Remove the panel of the steering wheel control switch panel. Remove the panel in the direction of the arrow.
  5. Remove the switch plate. Release the switch plate. Disconnect the wiring harness plug.
  6. The second switch is removed and installed similar.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the switch plate. Connect the wiring harness plug. Install the switch plate.
  2. Install the steering wheel control switch panel. Install the panel in position.
  3. Install the steering wheel control switch panel. Tighten: Tighten the bolt 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
