Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module Programming

When the inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic (SDM) module is replaced, the following procedures must be performed

  1. Replace the SDM module. Refer to «Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module Programming and Setup»(ref-302291-S14703571022008102100000) .
  2. Verify that all SDM components, deployment loop modules, passenger presence system (PPS), and sensors are connected and that all CPA's are in place.
  3. With a scan tool, perform the Program ECU and follow the screen prompts.
  4. Cycle the ignition from OFF to ON. Verify no DTCs are set. If any DTCs are set, refer to «Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle»(ref-302315-S34223864312008102100000) .
