CALIBRATION
Note. All stored code(s) will be deleted after the calibration cycle.
Note. If using ISAT diagnostic tester, follow tester manufacturer's instructions.
- Calibrate the Automatic Climate Control (ACC) system after replacing valve motor, control panel or battery. Calibration is also required if battery has been disconnected for at least 30 seconds, battery has been discharged or battery voltage exceeds 16 volts.
- To calibrate ACC system, simultaneously press AUTO and VENT buttons on ACC panel. The ISAT diagnostic tester can also be used to calibrate system. Calibration and auto-testing will take about 30 seconds.
- After initiating the calibration mode, the LED next to the VENT button will illuminate for about 7 seconds, indicating calibration is taking place. After 7 seconds, the light will climb up through the LEDs to the DEFROST button.
- The lights on the ACC panel will flash once, indicating that calibration and auto-testing have started. A "0" will be shown on the display panel if no faults are detected within the first 15 seconds of the test cycle.
- If fault(s) is detected (1-5), the number of faults found, not the actual fault code, will be indicated on the display. The ISAT diagnostic tester must be used to access fault code(s). For fault codes and description, see «SELF-DIAGNOSTIC FAULT CODES»(ref-13613-S02480273942000122600000) .
- At the end of the first 15-second period, the selected temperature will be shown on the display, and the ACC will select the appropriate settings. Auto-testing will continue to run for another 15 seconds.
- At the end of the 30-second cycle, it is possible to access the number of faults again, if any, by pressing the AUTO and OFF buttons. The number of fault(s) will then be displayed for about 5 seconds. If no faults are present, the system will revert to selected temperature immediately.
