DESCRIPTION

Vehicles may be equipped with either conventional or memory power seats. Both conventional and memory power seats are adjusted by means of a switch on outside of seat. Memory seats also include a switch for storing settings in memory, in addition to a control unit located under each front memory seat. (Схема №1)or (Схема №2).

Control unit monitors switches, and when a determined combination of switches have been activated, it performs the appropriate operation. If a seat motor is operating, control unit monitors its voltage consumption and position of seat as determined by position sensors. Control unit can store seat settings and fault codes.

With ignition switch in ON position, left seat switch is supplied with voltage from fuse No. 16. Right seat switch is supplied with voltage from fuse No. 5. On memory power seat, voltage is supplied from fuse No. 16.
