- VERIFY INTERIOR LIGHTING INOPERATIVE Turn the ignition on. Actuate the interior lights. Is the interior lighting inoperative? Yes Go To 2 . No Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals, and correct pin tension. Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to «BODY VERIFICATION TEST»(ref-457926-S40044966262012030200000) for 1500, 2500 and 3500 or «BODY VERIFICATION TEST»(ref-457927-S20352278932012030200000) for 3500 Cab Chassis, 4500 and 5500.
- (E12) PANEL LAMPS DRIVER CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND Turn the ignition off. Disconnect the Cluster C1 harness connector. Measure the resistance between ground and the (E12) Panel Lamps Driver circuit. Is the resistance below 5.0 Ohms? Yes Using the Wiring Information as a guide, diagnose the short to ground in the (E12) Panel Lamps Driver circuit. Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to «BODY VERIFICATION TEST»(ref-457926-S40044966262012030200000) for 1500, 2500 and 3500 or «BODY VERIFICATION TEST»(ref-457927-S20352278932012030200000) for 3500 Cab Chassis, 4500 and 5500. No Go To 3 .
- (M24) COURTESY LAMPS DRIVER CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND Measure the resistance between ground and the (M24) Courtesy Lamps Driver circuit. Is the resistance below 5.0 Ohms? Yes Using the Wiring Information as a guide, diagnose the short to ground in the (M24) Courtesy Lamps Driver circuit. Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to «BODY VERIFICATION TEST»(ref-457926-S40044966262012030200000) for 1500, 2500 and 3500 or «BODY VERIFICATION TEST»(ref-457927-S20352278932012030200000) for 3500 Cab Chassis, 4500 and 5500. No Go To 4 .
- (M27) READING/RAIL LAMPS DRIVER CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND Measure the resistance between ground and the (M27) Reading/Rail Lamps Driver circuit. Is the resistance below 5.0 Ohms? Yes Using the Wiring Information as a guide, diagnose the short to ground in the (M27) Reading/Rail Lamps Driver circuit. Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to «BODY VERIFICATION TEST»(ref-457926-S40044966262012030200000) for 1500, 2500 and 3500 or «BODY VERIFICATION TEST»(ref-457927-S20352278932012030200000) for 3500 Cab Chassis, 4500 and 5500. No Replace the Cluster in accordance with the Service Information. Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to «BODY VERIFICATION TEST»(ref-457926-S40044966262012030200000) for 1500, 2500 and 3500 or «BODY VERIFICATION TEST»(ref-457927-S20352278932012030200000) for 3500 Cab Chassis, 4500 and 5500.
